Data you provide through contact forms, booking requests and bookings (first and last name, email, phone, stay dates, number of guests, messages); guest data required by Italian law (identity document details for the mandatory police registration via Alloggiati Web, data for the tourist tax and regional tourism statistics); payment data, handled directly by payment providers and not stored by us; browsing data (IP address, browser, pages visited) collected through cookies.

  • Answering enquiries and managing bookings and stays – performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Legal obligations: police guest registration, tourist tax, tax and accounting duties – legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Website security and operation – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics and marketing through non-essential cookies – consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Recipients

Your data may be processed by service providers acting as data processors: Lodgify (booking platform and website), payment providers, tax and accounting advisers, messaging services (e.g. WhatsApp) and, where enabled, analytics and advertising tools (e.g. Google). Data is disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law. Any transfer outside the EU takes place with the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

5. Retention

Booking data is kept for as long as required by tax and accounting obligations (usually 10 years). Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for no more than 24 months.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw your consent by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali – www.garanteprivacy.it).
